Repair service for Toshiba 42RV530U power supply board 75010942 - dead TV or clicking on and off problem

If your Toshiba 42RV530U is completely dead or if it powers on and then off chances are this is the service it needs to get working again.
$79.95

Coppell TV Repair offers a REPAIR SERVICE for the power supply board 75010942 as shown in the picture and found in Toshiba 42RV530U LCD TV.

REPAIR SERVICE means that you have to send in a malfunctioning board which we will diagnose, service, test and return back to you.

Please make sure your TV has the same board before proceeding with this service or contact us if yours is different to see if we offer repair service for it.

Failure symptoms
Failure in this board is usually indicated by a completely dead TV (no front LED even available) or just a pair of clicks (click on and then click off) upon attempt to turn on the TV, or a fast clicking by the board or a TV taking time to turn on or turning off by itself after a while.

Some of these symptoms can be caused by failures on other boards though, so do not jump into conclusions!

Often when the power supply board fails you can find the fuse F820 (located in the upper left corner of the board, just above a heat sink with a large IC on it) open. If the fuse on your board is glass you can probably see if it is open, but if it is ceramic then you will need to test it for continuity.

A different failure in this board is resulting in a very faint display, possibly blinking and sometimes (depending on the TV settings) with a horizontal blueish bar moving top to botton of the display. If you have that one please note it in your service request as it is sometimes hard to reproduce reliably.

Processing time
Typical turnaround time is 2 business days. It is not guaranteed, though, as we can't control the volume of boards that arrive on a given day or the damage on the board.

Sometimes the damage extends beyond the common failures that this service covers for a fixed price. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to know that upfront. We try to repair everything that comes our way - this is our business - but when we break even on a board we will contact you and tell you that it is not worth repairing. In those rare cases we will return the board restored in to the best of our abilities to its original state, issue refund and ask you to cancel the sale on eBay.

It is not a nice experience for either side, but it is part of the business and it is best that we both know it upfront.

Service requirements

The board we receive must be physically intact and must have not been tampered with or serviced before.

If either of the two conditions is failed we reserve the right to reject service and return the board back to you at your expense.

If we take the board for service and fail to fix it within reasonable time (2 business days unless you allow us more) we will issue you refund and send it at our expense.

If a board arrives working you will only be liable for the return shipping costs, a fixed $20 diagnostic fee and whatever transaction fees eBay and PayPal incur on the transaction. You will receive back the rest.
