Coppell TV Repair LLC is offering a repair kit for a failure we ha've seen and resolved in LG YSUS board EBR74825301 as shown in the listing pictures and the below videos.
The board is used in LG 50PN4500 and possibly other plasma TVs based on the same plasma panel.
Please read this listing carefully and decide if you need this repair kit and if you are able to apply it!
Failure symptoms
Probably the ultimate test for finding if you need this repair kit is the conditions of the parts listed.
Any shorted transistor, shorted capacitor or open fuse (if there are fuses listed) is a guarantee you need the kit.
Unlike other vendors we publicly list the components included in our kits. There is a downside to us because of that (marketing companies simply copying us), but only an upside for potential honest customers as they have a chance to actually check and see if the components listed are indeed in need of replacement.
Kit contents
Brand new replacement components (original or substitutes with same or better parameters) for following components:
Q401,Q402, Q403,Q404, C417 and C418.
Notes:
1) We may send larger package replacements for Q401 and Q402. As shown on the video they will work just fine, in fact they will work better than the smaller package ones as they allow for better dissipation and lower resistance.
They do, however, require that you cut the adhesive tape that goes on the heat sink cover that is put on top ; you do not remove the whole tape, only the portion above the transistors.
You can then use silicone heat heat transfer compound to connect to the cover, but that is truly not critical (verified!).
2) If we send disc capacitors instead of SMD ones just make sure they are short and bent sideways so that they do not obstruct the heat sink cover.
3) Inspect your board carefully for other SMD capacitors that may have failed. Usually there is only one on the whole board that blows, but it may be different than the one we've seen...if it is contact us to verify it is safe to substitute it with what we send!
Other components may be included in the package you will receive if our knowledge on what is required changes over time; if you receive components that you can not map to the board please contact us for clarification!
All components in the kit are original and brand new whenever possible; when impossible to source brand new components we prefer choosing brand new substitutes over refurbished originals, but depending on the situation may resort to the later. This is a general company policy applying to all parts, not just the ones in this kit.
In any rate you will receive the parts that we ourselves use in our repairs. And we prefer them brand new and reliable, even if a bit more expensive rather than refurbished and with half life left (in regards to power components and ICs) for pennies left; in repair business cost of components is not as critical as in mass production due to the huge difference in quantities, so it makes no sense in repairs to go with cheaper parts as it makes in volume production.
Difficulty level
Medium because of the SMD parts and the possibility to make minor adjustments if we send larger substitutes.
Not recommended for novices, but anyone with experience in soldering should be able to do reasonably well.
Improper handling is very likely to damage board or components, so if you are not certain you can undertake the service consider using our board repair services instead.

Yet sometimes it is not possible or may result in delays, e.g. a late Friday FedEx shipping of inexpensive and durable product may have a chance of being shipped in Friday than the following Monday; in such cases we reserve the right to substitute FedEx Ground with USPS Priority and, in some very rare cases, USPS First Class service. If shipping costs differ significantly you are in your right to contact and request price adjustment.
When shipping option for the order is "Free shipping" we will usually utilize cheapest available method.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS
Coppell TV Repair LLC does not guarantee that this product is all that is needed to resolve the problems with your TV.
Most of the repair kits we offer are based on first hand experience servicing boards at our repair facility.
Over time they may get expanded with our own experience or information from manufacturer service bulletins, customer feedback etc.
Yet failure can be unique and there can not be guarantee that what has worked one, ten or even hundred times will also work the next one.
Just as important, every repair involves about equal portion of quality of parts and quality of worksmanship and as we have no control over the worksmanship quality unless we are the ones performing it we would be unwise to provide warranty of the products utilized by that worksmanship.
As such, no warranty is offered on this product once the components in it are soldered on a board.
